I have finally let art creep into my life and take over. I have had this feeling of being smothered by creativity which unfortunately has not been allowed to flourish due to a very busy time in my life. I realized that there is an opportunity to see, make and enjoy art almost every moment. I don't mean art only in the drawing/painting sense. I am talking beauty, music, singing, speech, movement, and theater. I am desperately trying to be happy even in the face of a lot of issues.
I go to college in the fall and I know at that point my focus will be on my studies which somewhat unfortunately is not art related. I wish I could minor in creative writing but my major is encompassing and won't allow me to do so. If I get a chance I will.
Right now I hope my summer will be filled with character development,outlines and stories. I want to write so badly but just haven't been given the time. I need to make writing a career and I have never been so motivated to do so before.
